High Green Farm is an ideal base for your holiday. It is situated in a peaceful location midst farmland, hills and streams and in a central position for exploring both the Lakes and Dales.
Guests can observe the daily routine of a typical, Cumbrian farm throughout the year.

There are so many places of interest both locally and further afield offering a wide variety of activities and interest. The area is well served by hotels and public houses where you can partake of excellent food and drink.

The following are only a few of the activities and places of interest which you will find withing ten miles:-

WALKING
This is an area of outstanding beauty and there are many walks, footpaths and country lanes just waiting to be explored. The Howgills and Ingleborough are accessible in minutes and the wonderful views afforded from their summits are well worth the climb.

GOLF
Kirkby Lonsdale Golf Club is a five minute drive from High Green Farm and is a picturesque parkland course nestled between the village of Barbon and the River Lune. It is recognised as one of the top golf courses in the north west.

WHITE SCAR CAVE
The longest show cave in Britain deep beneath Ingleborough Hill.

INGLETON WATERFALLS
An ideal family day out is the four and a half mile Falls Walk at Ingleton, some of the most spectacular waterfall and woodland scenery in the north of England.

FARFIELD MILL Arts and Heritage Centre with arts and crafts by local artists, Heritage Exhibition showing the rise and fall of the woollen and textile industries in the Sedbergh area, weaving, mill shop and tea room.
